As a foreign student, please be aware that each university is free to focus on students who "understand Thai culture". The less information is offered to foreign applicants on a university's Web site (or the higher the surcharge for foreign students), the less welcome this foreign student will be. But don't worry: There are enough universities that are more than happy to welcome you! Anyway, both sorts of universities exist.

Please note that the average fee per semester is a theoretical value for easy comparison. The real cost per semester differ, depending on university and credits per semester. You need to contact the university of your choice and ask them. You also want to note that we cannot guarantee the information on this page. It always needs verification.

To apply for a particular program, please contact the university directly. Procedures and requirements differ slightly and are subject to change. We can provide you with a certified translation of your transcripts in English or Thai. Both languages are accepted at Thai universities, but we recommend translation into English - you can later use the certified copy for other purposes outside Thailand.

Our tip:
These information were updated on 30 December 2011 according to the universities' Web sites. Please be aware that some universities take little care of the correctness and completeness of information published on their Web sites. Try to get to the bottom of the fees you’ll have to pay. Not every university mentions every cost factor. While in some of the cheapest programs even all textbooks and handouts are included, some of the most expensive programs come along with a long list of additional payments you have to make. Make sure you know the complete sum before you sign the contract! Please also note that we cannot guarantee the fees mentioned below since we depend upon information from the universities. Always get the tuition fee per semester and for the whole program confirmed by your university before you apply!
