There are many places in Bangkok where you can do skateboarding. Huamark Sports Complex (next to the IIS building on the Ramkhamhaeng University main campus) is one of those places.
There are more than 300 members meating regularly, divided into several groups related to their age.
The 20 to 30 years old come there to improve their skateboarding skills between 5pm and 10pm. Many aim to get ready for competitions. Others are there for exercising and just having fun and try new challenging things. The environment is quite crowded; people walk everywhere around but do not disturb the skateboarders.
It would be better if you have your own skateboard.
Every member welcomes beginners, you don't need to be a professional. If you are interested in this activity, feel free to contact all members over there, or e-mail to kingdom_391@hotmail.com.
