The International Hotel and Tourism Industry Management School or I-TIM as it is now known, was originally initiated and formally established in 1987 and was authorized by the Private Education Commission, Ministry of Education to teach programs in hotel and tourism management in 1988. I-TIM
was the first professional education insitute in Thailand to train career professionals in English for the
hotel and tourism industry.
With a belief in education as a means of fostering individual moral and intellectual growth, I-TIM
has dedicated itself to professionally educate and train students interested in challenging careers in
hotel and tourism industry management. I-TIM's success will be measured by how well it assists
individual students in defining and fulfilling their careers and life goals. I-TIM was selected by the
Ministry of Education for "The Royal Best School Award" in 1992.
I-TIM is presently open to students worldwide and operates in the role of regional training center
for the tourism industry which is very important for the economies of many countries in the world.
I-TIM welcomes applications from men and women interested in an innovative curriculum and a serious academic challenge which will prepare them for a dynamic career.
