All programs of study are approved and accredited by the Thai Ministry of Education. It is also accredited by the Adventist Accreditation Association in the United States of America which is an organization that accredits more than 7000 schools, colleges and universities worldwide.
Student Life at Asia-Pacific International University
One of the unique characteristics of the University is the diversity of cultures present
on campus. This culturally rich environment will help students develop their intercultural skills, which is a must in the current globalized workplace. Meeting and developing long-lasting friendships with other
international students is one of the lasting benefits of attending the University.
Dormitory: The dormitories are constructed to meet students’ need for space and comfort during their stay. The rooms were designed for two and four student
occupancy, some with adjoining toilet and bathroom while others provide shared
facilities. They also have a comfortable space for studying. Internet connections are provided.
Cafeteria: The cafeteria provides a variety of nutritious vegetarian food to meet the daily requirements of a healthy diet. Such an approach to maintaining a healthy body and mind is part of our program of informing students of the best scientific and medical advice available.
Library: Students can enjoy the many books available for pleasure or research. The library is equipped to provide inter- library research tools for students as well as providing liberal access to the internet within the library to assist in their studies.
Class-Rooms: Well designed and air conditioned classrooms provide a comfortable
setting for teaching and learning activities. These rooms are equipped with modern audio-visual facilities.
Sports: There are many opportunities for participation sporting activities. The University has several well developed facilities that will meet students’
physical needs and its gym is equipped and open to students who wish to build or tone their physique.
Student Centre: The University has a very active Student Council that promotes the welfare of the students and which maintains close involvement in a variety of cultural and community activities. The student council is housed in the Student Administrative building.
Cost: Studying at Asia Pacific International University will cost 49,650 baht per semester for students who come from outside Southeast Asian Countries. Thai students taking Thai language degrees will pay 1200 baht per semester excluding the Nursing degree. Students from Southeast Asian Countries pay 30,675 baht per semester for international programs. Food and accommodation are charged separately at the time of registration. Other incidental costs not included are student’s pocket money, travels to and from home and other miscellaneous expenditures that students might incur while studying at Asia Pacific International University.
English as a Second Language: Students, who do not meet the University’s
English language entrance requirement, can register for the ESL program to improve their English language skills. The program is especially geared towards preparing
students in an academic environment. The ESL program is also open to people who
are just interested in improving their English and are not continuing on to the
college program.
Spiritual Activities: There is a good variety of programs designed to give
encouragement and nurture spiritual growth. Many of these are broadlybased to teach moral and ethical values which are appreciated by all cultures and which prepare graduates to function as responsible and caring citizines in society.
Employability: Graduates from Asia Pacific International University are readily employed by firms within Thailand and abroad. Nurses who graduated from the University are readily employed in the hospitals in Thailand as well as in neighboring countries.
